Visit www.terpware.umd.edu to get started. You will need to log in with your Directory ID and password before downloading products. Several of the products are large files, so please take that into consideration when downloading. TERPware is the new software download website for UMD. In addition to the new Adobe products, you can also download Microsoft software and other products at no cost from TERPware, such as anti-virus and Virtual Private Networking (VPN) software.

The new Adobe software is available thanks to an agreement between the university and Adobe arranged by the Division of IT and funded collaboratively by the Division of IT, UMD colleges and schools, and the Campus Student Technology Fee. Additionally, the university is partnering with Adobe to build its Creative Cloud for Enterprise, which will offer access to the latest Adobe products in the cloud. The Division of IT looks forward to releasing this innovation to UMD during the Fall 2013 semester when it is fully ready and tested by Adobe and by us.
The availability of Adobe and Microsoft products and the new TERPware downloading website are steps toward increasing IT Abundance at UMD and fulfilling a part of Recommendation 1, Action Item 9 of the newly adopted University of Maryland IT Strategic Plan (www.it.umd.edu/ITstrategy). These new additions represent significant new IT enablements promoting innovation.
