OIT Podcasts

Podcasting is the distribution of audio files over the Internet for listening on personal computers (PCs and Macs) and portable devices such as iPods or other MP3 players. Now, OIT is taking advantage of this new communication vehicle to provide you with information designed to make experiencing information technology resources easier, and more informative, convenient, and enjoyable.

OIT's latest podcast features a topic of interest to the university community:

  • Tripti Sinha from OIT's Networking and Telecommunications Services talks about the university's wireless network, past, present, and future.

OIT enhanced podcasts are also now available. These podcasts are enhanced with video slides and live Web links. To learn more about viewing enhanced podcasts, please visit www.helpdesk.umd.edu/documents/4/4654.
